Frequently asked questions
What is a birth chart?
A birth chart (or natal chart) is a map of where the Sun, Moon and planets were in the zodiac at the exact moment and place you were born. Astrologers read it to describe personality and life themes.
What do I need to calculate my birth chart?
Your date of birth, the time you were born and the place you were born. Without a birth time you can still see your planet signs, but not your rising sign or houses.
How accurate is this birth chart calculator?
Planet positions are calculated astronomically for your exact birth moment, using historical time zone data for your birthplace. Results agree with professional astrology software to within a fraction of a degree.
Which house system do you use?
Houses are shown using the equal house system, where each house spans 30° starting from your ascendant. Other house systems can place planets in slightly different houses.
